Review - Robongi has excellent sashimi and very good sushi in general. The fish I've had has been the best quality in Hoboken and prepared without fault. You won't find as many exotic offerings, but for the real sushi lover that should not disappoint. Also, the decor matches this theme and so you will not find plush, hip, modern decor like many other sushi lounges in Hoboken. In fact, the decor could use a little help.Hoboken is home to many a sushi shop, but Robongi serves up the best. You will not find such fancy-schmancy concoctions as at the more nouveau venues, but you will still be impressed by Robongi's fresh, melt-in-your-mouth cuts of fish.

Review - Excellent food, full of flavor, not bland at all. Their gyoza and negimaki are AWESOME. Friendly staff. One of my favorite Hoboken restaurants.

Review - I've dined out here and ordered for take out, I've never been dissapointed!! The Sushi/Sashimi is excellent as well as many of thier other dinner's. The staff is always friendly, and I love the fact that it is BYO! Prices are definitely in line with the quality and freshness of the food.

Review - A gem in Hoboken. Im a foodie myself and have been to various restaurants and Robongi offers a great menu, good food and exceptional service. The food is always fresh and service is served with a smile. Moreover, it's BYOB. This is a great place to go with friends, have good food and share a good laugh. The selection of music is great , they place a lot of old school... Try it and you'll love it

Review - Best sushi in Hoboken..For the price, best sushi in tri-state area. Don't waste your time anywhere else, in town at least. They used to rush you in and out but have changed their ways. Service is WAY better since about, Feb. '06 or so. Also try the katsu don(s)..ridiculously good ('n plenty).

Review - This is the best sushi in Hoboken! I catered a party from Robongi and it was an incredible hit. Just writing this is making me crave a piece of their fresh and tasty salmon or the yummy spicy tuna salad. Even if you're not a raw fish fan, their california rolls are wonderful as is the Hamaichi Kama appetizer or seafood teriyaki. Delivery is fast too!
Review - I love my sashimi and I have just found my all time favorite Japanese restaurant in Hoboken. The sashimi was fresh and the cuts were HUGH. We also ordered the pan fried dumplings and they were very tasty. Great food all around. Very attentive waiters. I highly recommend it for sushi/sashimi lovers.

Review - this is hands down my favorite hoboken spot to eat, drink, and be VERY merry. the food is fresh and delicious, the service is fast and spot on, and the general decor is AMAZING! most of my most epic hoboken nights have started (and sometimes continued haha) at this place - byob, have a major dance party to the always awesome music selection, and take sake bombs with your waiter. awesome for birthdays, celebrations, or just general group tomfoolery.

Review - Amazing food, Amazing service -- best sushi I've ever had. It gets crowded starting around 7:30 on weekends but it's always worth the wait. Plus it's BYOB which is always a good thing!! We go there at least twice a week.

Review - It is a great place, everything top notch. Only downside is if you live within 30 feet of it, then their delivery guys will occupy your stoop as a bench and sit there so you cant get in or out of your apt, they also leave garbage at your doorstep and cigarette butts on the ground. And they double park all over the place out front making traffic a nightmare at night. Food is the bomb and so are the waiters, its just the delivery guys that sort of give it a bad rap

Review - Okay, I have lived in Hoboken for about 7 years and I am a huge foodie. Seriously it blows my mind how Hoboken being so close to NYC has such horrible restaurants. I have eaten sushi at some of NY's tops: NOBU, TOMOE, Blue Ribbon, ETC. ROBONGI is hands down the BEST SUSHI I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. Finally a good place in Hoboken! I don't know how Robongi does it, but it ROCKS.

Review - I have been to Hawaii 5 times (if you cant make it to japan this is the next place to travel to to get the best and freshest sushi), so I know what good sushi tastes like. Robangi is the only place I have been to on the east coast to have sushi that even comes close to the sushi i have had in Hawaii. Not only is the sushi delicious and fresh, but the prices are extremely reasonable for the large portions you get. I highly recommend this place.
